Our impact: empowering women, transforming communities
At Sandy's Helpers, we believe in creating lasting change. Explore how our dedication to training and education is making a real difference in the lives of women across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Training and education are essentials
We firmly believe that sustainable success stems from knowledge and skill. Our core mission at Sandy's Helpers is to empower women in Sub-Saharan Africa with the essential training and education needed to establish and maintain thriving small animal farms. This approach not only ensures the success of individual farms but also fosters economic independence and community growth.

A journey of success: empowering farm women
From the very beginning of the Sandy's Helpers mission, providing animal-husbandry training for the women was an important part of making every small farm successful. Working with a fantastic team of skilled farm aids under the supervision of Dr. Ikita, every farm was given an opportunity to succeed. This impactful approach is now duplicated across all of the Sandy's Helpers farms in Nigeria and other areas of Sub-Saharan Africa, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and prosperity.

Key achievements and milestones
While we are constantly working to expand our reach, some of our proudest achievements include establishing successful small animal farms and training thousands of women in sustainable animal husbandry practices, and seeing a significant increase in local food security and economic independence within the communities we serve. Each milestone fuels our dedication to empowering more women - and you are a vital part of this mission that is moving beyond sustainability to the very real concept of "advance-ability." When you give a woman the power to change her life, you empower change that is multiplying and saving entire villages!
"Sandy's Helpers didn't just give me animals; they gave me the knowledge and confidence to build a better future for my family. Their training changed everything."
